• 2023 AIRAH Awards Winner for Excellence in Innovation for work at the state-of-the-art Allianz Sydney Stadium where the A.G. Coombs and LCI team delivered an innovative high-performance mechanical and HVAC system to meet rigorous functionality requirements while targeting ambitious sustainability targets (A.G. Coombs & LCI Consultants).
• 2023 AIRAH Awards – joint winner for Excellence in HVAC&R Research for the BREATH Project. G. Coombs played an important role in this world-first collaboration between local government, industry and academics that identified a simple way to reduce energy consumption in office buildings while also decreasing the transmission of SARS-CoV-2.
