A.G. Coombs Project Manager, Gerard Mignone (pictured), will present at the forthcoming MelBIM event on what A.G. Coombs is doing to better deliver its complex projects; addressing the “Sweet Spot” in project delivery.
AS BIM leaders, we have an obligation to challenge the industry, regarding how we use the tools at our disposal to create efficiencies. Whispers of ‘Supply Chain Integration’, ‘Lean’, and ‘Integrated Project Delivery’ are being heard more and more, and with BIM as the core common mechanism, we have the opportunity to find this “Sweet Spot” for project delivery.
Drawing on current case studies as examples, Gerard’s presentation will explore A.G. Coombs’ journey in finding this ‘Sweet Spot’, touching on critical areas of project delivery including prefabrication, proactive coordination and early constructability support.
