CBUS Property, Charter Hall & Knight Frank for 171 Collins St Melbourne have been awarded ‘Best Commercial Building Energy Efficiency Project 2016’ in the Energy Efficiency Council’s National Energy Efficiency Awards 2016.
171 Collins was the first building in Victoria to achieve a 6 Star NABERS Energy rating without green power and the second commercial office building in Australia to achieve this highest rating without green power.
The award was based on a number of criteria including:
During construction, A.G. Coombs was responsible for the detailed design, installation and commissioning of specialist HVAC and mechanical services. A.G. Coombs have subsequently provided the building’s system tuning services and energy efficiency focused maintenance to the on-site management team.
A.G. Coombs congratulates the 171 Collins Street team on this award, and is proud to have played a role in the building’s 6 Star NABERS Energy rating.
