National Reconciliation Week | 27 May - 3 June

May 27, 2020

Wednesday, 27th of May sees the start of National Reconciliation Week (NRW), a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

The theme for National Reconciliation Week (NRW) 2020 is ‘In This Together’ which now looks to be resonating in ways which could not have been foreseen when announced last year, but it reminds us whether in a crisis or in reconciliation, we are all ‘in this together’.

At its heart, reconciliation is about strengthening relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous peoples, for the benefit of all Australians.
