The building shows how energy and water consumption can be reduced through careful consideration of all the factors that influence this use.

A.G. Coombs was engaged by managing contractor Richard Crookes Constructions to provide mechanical contracting services to the site. The role included design development, detailed design, installation, commissioning and Green Star tuning, as well as warranty and maintenance for the building’s HVAC and mechanical services, and building management and controls systems.

A recent article in AIRAH’s Ecolibrium magazine discusses how this building has potentially helped to redefine how laboratory buildings are designed.
