A.G. Coombs extends Richmond partnership, joins AFLW front of jumper

February 1, 2021

A.G. Coombs is pleased to announce an extension of our partnership with the Richmond Football Club into 2021. The A.G. Coombs logo will now sit proudly on the front of the Richmond AFLW playing jumper.

A.G. Coombs has supported the Club since 2016 and through the partnership extension will continue as the Club’s official partner for facilities maintenance of building services, including air-conditioning, mechanical services, and fire protection.

In an exciting addition to the long-standing partnership, the A.G. Coombs logo will now sit proudly on the front of the Richmond AFLW playing jumper and media polo.

The front of jumper sponsorship adds to A.G. Coombs’s existing support of the Richmond AFLW program as an inaugural partner in 2020.

As part of the partnership and our focus on diversity, inclusion, and gender equality, A.G. Coombs and Richmond will also work together to provide employment opportunities for AFLW players.

A.G. Coombs will continue to support Richmond’s Korin Gamadji Institute in 2021, working to provide education and employment pathway opportunities to KGI REAL program participants.

A.G. Coombs Group Managing Director, Russell Telford, is excited to be elevating their participation and connection with the clubs Women’s program and the AFLW competition. “We are extremely proud of our multi-faceted partnership including our alignment with diversity and inclusion as well as high value community programs,” he said.

Richmond CEO Brendon Gale said he was thrilled that A.G. Coombs would be represented on the Club’s iconic Yellow and Black guernsey for the AFLW season.

“Russell and the team at A.G. Coombs have been tremendous supporters of our Club for a considerable period of time,” he said.

“Their continued support for our business operations and community programs has been fantastic, and they have embraced and endorsed our Women’s program since its inception.”
