Third-year drafting apprentice, Patrick O’Reilly, was the deserving recipient of the Award, having been recognised by the AMCA for his dedication and commitment to his role and to the industry.
This is Patrick’s first industry award, which was presented by AMCA Victorian President Mr Stephen Aulich at the 2014 AMCA Industry Dinner, held on Saturday 9 August at the RACV Club Melbourne.
A.G. Coombs drafting apprentice Jackson Taylor was also a finalist for the Drafting Training Award, and A.G. Coombs refrigeration apprentice Michael Sealey was a finalist in the overall Training Achievement Award category.
These achievements are testament to A.G. Coombs’ long and proud history of investing in the development of trainees and apprentices as the future of the organisation and the industry. The award is a reflection of the strength of the A.G. Coombs Apprenticeship Program and the individuals involved.
Congratulations to Patrick and to all the finalists for their hard work and dedication to their trade.
