National NAIDOC Week | 2nd – 9th July 2023

June 26, 2023

The 2023 National NAIDOC Week theme is For Our Elders.

Across every generation, our Elders have played, and continue to play, an important role and hold a prominent place in our communities and families. They are cultural knowledge holders, trailblazers, nurturers, advocates, teachers, survivors, leaders, hard workers and our loved ones.

NAIDOC Week is celebrated by local community events taking place across Australia. Search for an event where you can share in the celebrations.

Previous National NAIDOC Week Award Winners come from many different communities within Australia and have different backgrounds, however they are all part of NAIDOC history and share remarkable achievements.
